Coldest Night of the Year 2022

Coldest Night of the Year 2022
Coldest Night of the Year 2022
On February 26th 2022 I will be participating for the fifth year in a row in the Coldest Night of the Year. This is a Canadian wide event raising awareness and funds for the homeless, hungry and hurting in our communities.
Prior to 2018, the Orangeville Food Bank had never done any formal fundraising, and I was so thrilled to be part of their first ever event, Coldest Night of the Year. It was a big learning curve for sure, that first event. What I was so completely blown away by was how organized the company that started the event, Blue Sea Foundation, was and how easy they made it for our committee to host CNOY in Orangeville. From a digital marketing perspective, clearly the investment in technology and branding had a huge impact on the success of the event. Having one very streamlined website and backend made it user friendly for our Food Bank Volunteers, team captains, walkers, and donors. I also completely appreciated the digital assets provided such as logo packs, Facebook & Instagram posts, and previous years photography handy to use & post information on our event.
What is the Coldest Night of the Year?
From the CNOY Facebook page - I just really loved each point below, this summarizes what is the Coldest Night of the Year:

More about the Orangeville Coldest Night Event
The goal for CNOY Orangeville is to raise $50,000 for the Orangeville Food Bank. These funds are raised via sponsorships from local companies as well as donations to walkers. The home base of the event will be at the Orangeville Food Bank, but as of right now we are uncertain if anyone will be actually entering the building, this will depend on COVID regulations. Walkers can choose to walk either 2km or 5km. More information will be added soon to our main page with walk routes and other event day information.
How you can help
If you are a local company owner, you can sponsor the event - this gives you great coverage on the website, social media, and signage. You can email Andrea at [email protected] for more information.
If you would like to organize a team you can sign up to CNOY as a team captain and rally as many walkers as you can.
