Business (Life) Tip - Be Part of the Solution

At my very first corporate job my boss, whom I very much admired as a great team leader, gave us this advice; "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem".

That quote has stuck with me for YEARS.  It is so true!  If you are solution based you have so much more to offer the world in every situation.  So I offer this to you to implement in your business strategy.  Always be solution based.  Identify problems - and offer ways to solve them!  Do not simply complain about problems all day long (how annoying!!!).  Be proactive and come up with suggestions on how to resolve the problems.

Example I can apply to my Social Media Management Business - Dufferin Media

Business owners in many cases simply do not have the time to manage all of their social media accounts.  Thus Dufferin Media offers a fully outsourced solution to managing social media for these businesses.  Problem solved!  Now business owners can do what they do best and rest assured knowing their social media is being taken care of.

 

What Problems Can you Solve?

Regardless if you are a business owner, manager, entrepreneur, blogger, or employee - there are always problems around you that need to be solved.  Every day there are problems that crop up!  Think about your own daily life.  My kids are constantly struggling in the morning to find their mitts & hats - so frustrating!!!  So as a solution I purchased a little plain wooden crate that will fit in the bench in my front hall - and offered each child the chance to decorate it and then put all of their hats & mitts into that bin.  See - problem solved.

Here is a list of common problems that you can perhaps find inspiration from to offer solutions - thus helping your customers / audience & growing your business:
