Please help me in celebrating business owner, Lisa Wilson, founder of Canadian Saving Mom

I don't know about you, but I have really noticed the impact of rising prices of literally everything from gas to food to everyday essential items.  In our household we have really had to make some adjustments to our spending.  I have become more aware of points systems, couponing, and price matching.

I am very excited to be featuring Lisa today, she came into the Savings game before this crazy inflation, and she is helping so many people learn to save in various ways.  The suggestions she offers can be used not just in Canada, but anywhere in the world.  Consider shopping second hand, maximizing points programs, money saving apps, and overall - shop smart.

Remember - every little bit matters.

What does your business do?

What problem does your business solve?

How did you get started in business?

Sharing tips, tricks and ways to save money and shop smart. Sharing relatable, attainable methods to spend less.

I also have a passion for second hand -and think this is one of the best ways to get more for your money. I run an online based Consignment program.

Growing inflation is stressful - my aim is to ultimately share ALL the ways you can spend less than you may have otherwise.  I am a busy mom of two little boys, so I know how daunting it can all be. My goal is to be relatable, and to share methods that are attainable. I also share deals, sales and exclusive promos available - to provide an opportunity to spend LESS than you would, on those needs and wants.

I offer a platform for clients to earn money back for their belongings, as well as a place for shoppers to buy excellent quality second hand items at unbeatable prices.

This is a lifestyle I have been living for a very long time, I finally decided it’s worth sharing all the things I’ve learned along the way with others!

Current goals of your business My pipedream list is miles long. My goals are to continue growing my social media platforms, continue to build my affiliate marketing portfolio, continue to work with Canadian small businesses and continue to build my catalog of paid products and free downloadables.

Longer term goals include creating ebooks/guides, creating a paper yearly budget workbook, an all encompassing CSM app, and perhaps even a podcast one day.

I’d also love to eventually be a part of a speaking event to discuss shopping smart, and how to spend less.

Current challenges of your business Rising prices - it is an inevitable challenge I am (and will always) be up against. The constant change of “what’s the new best price..” concepts are challenging.

When your business is based on a mindset - it’s less objective, and difficult to engrain or gain reach.

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to learn more about Lisa and Canadian Saving Mom - I've joined her Facebook Group
