Business Feature: Kylie Nicole, Spirit Medium
Please help me in celebrating business owner, Kylie Nicole, Spirit Medium.
"This is for the women who have never given themselves permission to pursue a soul purpose. Everyone else has always come first and you’ve just settled with whatever has been left over."
This quote on Kylie's website hit me pretty hard. As a woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister, business owner, my own personal needs often do come last as I do my best to service everyone else's needs before mine. I don't necessarily regret this, but feel a real pull from my centre about pursuing a soul purpose. I am not a religious person, but I am a spiritual person, and I believe in keeping an open mind in all situations. I have started to listen more to my intuition and believe as I grow into the next phase of my life listening within will become more important for me to be true to myself.
The Empowered Path sounds like an amazing program :

What does your
business do? |
I’m an International Evidential Medium, and I’ve started to run a 6 week online programme called “The Empowered Path” which is in its second launch (23 Jan). |
What problem does your business solve?
How did you get started in business? |
I teach holistic and heart-centred women how to get their own businesses up and running, energetically and practically, within 6 weeks. Spiritual women are often told that they’re not allowed to make money from their abilities, and I’m actively challenging that. I believe that we can’t be here to serve who we’re here to serve if we’re hiding behind a day job that is soul destroying for us. It’s about giving ourselves permission to create something different.
I was an academic student who had to drop out of high school and move overseas on my own at 17 to support my family. I wasn’t able to put myself through university so I got into Logistics and specialised in Freight. I got to the top of my game as the youngest, and only female, national manager for a global company and hated it, I felt like I was selling my soul. I’ve been communicating with Spirit since I was 5, I didn’t even know what a Medium was until I’d left home as my family never made me feel like it was different. I decided to leave Corporate and develop my Mediumship. I was running the WA branch for a software company and doing my Mediumship alongside it when I got made redundant 2 weeks after my son was born. That forced me to go full time in my own business, and I’ve never looked back. |
Current goals of your business | For “The Empowered Path” I want to support as many women as possible as they transition away from their day jobs and into their soul purpose. My business experience and Mediumship abilities give me a foot placed firmly in each world, and I love helping women empower themselves and give themselves permission to be More. I was recently awarded a Corporate Vision award for the first launch of The Empowered Path, and my goal now is to facilitate three more launches of the programme in 2023, and build a global community of incredible women. |
Current challenges of your business | Changing outdated mindsets around Spiritual or Holistic women turning their abilities into a business.
Reaching the women who are 100% ready to back themselves and create abundance in all things. I do struggle on a practical aspect to get my message out, as between my Mediumship, podcast, running The Empowered Path programme, teaching my development classes and running workshops as well as being a mum to my 2 year old son (I’m a single parent for half of every fortnight because my husband works away) looking after our staffy and my horses and some self-care, I don’t have the expertise or bandwidth to effectively market the programme. I’m currently completing two different courses as well to try and help me with this, but it’s taking a while to get them done. |
