Paro Circles comes to Dufferin County
PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise is one of Canada’s most successful business support and networking organizations. As a not-for-profit social enterprise, we collaborate to empower women, strengthen small business and promote community economic development across Northern, Northeastern, Eastern, South Eastern, and Central Ontario (excluding the Greater Toronto Area).
‘PARO‘ is Latin for “I Am Ready“
I am very excited to be forming the very first Paro Circle in Dufferin County. A circle is a network of 4 to 7 women entrepreneurs that agree to form a circle of support. The benefits of supporting other women in business can not be denied. Not only do we get the opportunity to support the women in our circle, we also get the amazing opportunity to be connected with hundreds of other woman entrepreneurs through the Paro Network.
As soon as I learned about Paro and the way that the organization helps connect women and help women entrepreneurs succeed, especially those that might otherwise be limited because of their remote location I wanted IN.
Our first meeting is coming up this Tuesday when we will officially sign the paperwork to create our circle. If you are interested in learning more please send me an email or reach out on any of my social media channels. firstname.lastname@example.org
You must be willing to commit to one in person meeting per month. Currently we have booked Tuesdays at 2pm as the time on the third Tuesday of each month. It would be up to the circle to decide to change that.
