What is Social Listening?
Social listening is the practice of monitoring what is being said about your business online. This is different than just monitoring your mentions on social media – those are direct interactions that you are notified of. Social listening goes deeper and searches the internet and social media channels for mentions of your business that have not tagged your business. So an example would be just doing a Google search of your business name. Or going on Facebook or Twitter and searching your business name.
